Richard was born in Niagara Falls, Canada, 1951.  He moved to Florida in 1991 with his wife, Elaine.  In December of 2004, Richard and Elaine decided to make Coffeyville, Kansas, their home.  Over the years, Richard has self-published twelve novels and currently is commissioned by Coffeyville Community College to write a book about Native Americans, who once called the Verdigris River basin home.  Richard's passion for writing started in June, 1999 and he continues to write stories in all genres.  He enjoys sharing his experiences with the Night Writers and recently created a publishing company for those who want books produced.   He invites you to check out his personal website at:  www.tanosbookspublishing.com
